Ed Taylor

Ed Taylor is a serial entrepreneur who brings more than 30 years’ experience in building and managing IT consulting organizations to Collective. He created Collective Technologies in 1994 to satisfy the growing demand for highly complex systems management services. Prior to founding Collective, Ed launched PSW Technologies in 1989. The first company to graduate from the Austin Technology Incubator, PSW completed a highly successful IPO in 1997. Ed has a respected track record for identifying emerging technologies and launching spin-offs to capture these new markets.
Awarded the Ernest & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 1999, Ed chaired the EOY Awards Judging Committee from 2007 to 2011. A strong proponent of the Austin technology market, Ed helped co-found the Austin Technology Council and sat on their Board for many years.

 Mauricio Antunez

With more than 18 years of experience in the IT industry, Mauricio Antunez is responsible for developing and growing AXEN as a near-shore IT consulting leader in the United States. Mauricio's knowledge of world class processes and standards combined with a passion for people has suited him to be the ideal leader for AXEN's expansion into the United States. He has proven expertise in team building and business development, reaching success and profitability through AXEN's attractive near-shore IT approach. Mauricio holds a Computer Science degree and Master's Degree in Information Systems Management from Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores (ITESM) in Monterrey, MX.

TechBA-Austin, a technology business accelerator created by the United States-Mexico Foundation for Science, helps innovative and established technology companies to expand into international markets and create alliances with U.S. and global companies.

ICInstitute's Global Commercialization Group, in conjunction with the United States - Mexico Foundation for Science (FUMEC), operates a technology business accelerator at The University of Texas at Austin. 

Since 2005, almost 250 companies have received remote training. Of that group, more than 70 companies have participated in the accelerator and generated more than $70M in revenue for participating companies.
